Thankyou thankyou thankyou
veeeery helpful. thank you!
It says that my database is a .ink file instead of a .mpd
how do i get it to save as a .mpd so that I can load the database onto another computer?
Karabara25, I'm not sure how your database was named with a .ink, but if you're in TntMPD and the system info says this is the file, then this is the file, even if it doesn't end with .mpddb. I'd suggest changing the name in Windows Explorer so that it ends with .mpddb and opening it from TntMPD (File | Open).
when I click under help, view system info. My computer says that the Database name is: C;\Users\Heather\Documents\Address List.xlsx This file does not end in .mpd and will not open in my new TNTmpd on the Mac. Help!
I have a database that is on a desktop mac and needs to be transferred to my laptop mac. I checked the info where the file is stored, but when I tried to follow the path, the file was empty. I remember it being empty from the start, as I was very confused when that file was for. Any ideas how to find it?
Heather, normally xlsx is for Excel spreadsheets. If TntMPD is working, then you should rename it to Address List.mpddb in Windows Explorer. Make sure you have the option in Windows Explorer to view filename extensions. Often they are hidden by default.
Courtney, I'd try searching your Mac hard drive for the database by its name.
I'm currently running my software on parallels but want to switch over to the mac format. I'm having trouble finding my most recent and active file so that I can transfer that over. any help?
In TntMPD on Parallels, under the "Help" menu, click on "View System Info". The name of your database file will be at the top.l
