I just released 2.1 r24 and I'd love to get all your feedack on it. The main feature included in this release is intended to help staff couples stay in sync using web-based shared folders with services like Dropbox (www.dropbox.com). This new feature is added to help ensure only one user at a time is using the database. An FAQ article regarding this concept is here.
To turn on this feature, under: Tools | Options, check the box to "Warn if someone else has the database open".

With this option turned on, and if every user is upgraded to TntMPD 2.1 r24 (or newer), then if you try to open TntMPD when another user is already in the database, you'll get a prompt like this:

Pressing "Yes" or "Cancel" will stop you from opening the database. Pressing "No" will allow you to open the database anyway. (I left in this option because it's possibble that if TntMPD doesn't shut down properly, it could leave a lock on the database preventing other users from going into the database.)
This solution makes it possible for Windows user and a Mac user of TntMPD to share a common database.
It's available for download from here.
