About TntWare
I have installed Donorwise, and have SQL server installed. I do not remember setting any password on SQL so how do I make a new database for donorwise? This part of the program is very cryptic. Can't you make a simple out of the box solution that doesn't need for the user to get into SQL server? I mean, there are solutions that doesn't need to set up the databases using an external program! Right? If this is necessary (and I cannot install a new database without it from what I see), you should have a help page with every step laid out, including verifying somehow whether these programs are installed, and very clear instructions, step-by-step, on how to install the first new database. Please help. I consider myself computer savy, but I am explaining to a secretary how to do this, and I cannot get it installed either!
Dear sir
There is another software, TntMPD, that you might be interested in:

TntMPD stands for "Troy & Tammy's Ministry Partners Development". As the name suggests, TntMPD was originally meant for Troy's personal use for support raising and contact management. It has blessed many missionaries and ministries since.
TntMPD doesn't require Microsoft SQL server. Each TntMPD database is a single file with mpddb extension, it can be saved in My Documents, Desktop, USB drive, and even Dropbox, just like any documents.

Is it not possible to connect DonorWise to an existing SQL installation? Do I really have to let it install SQLExpress 2005?
DonorWise can work with an existing SQL Server installation. Prior to 4.0.8, DonorWise will only work with SQL Server 2005 to 2012. 4.0.8 should be able to work with even newer versions (although it's still in beta, and I haven't yet tested it with newer versions).
