Sorry for the resend, but I wanted to make sure I grabbed your attention.
An important issue has been discovered by one of our beta testers. There was an issue which prevented history items having notes of more than 255 characters to be lost in the upgrade process! This issue has been resolved. If you have already upgraded your database and began using TntMPD 2.0, I'd strongly recommend you perform this procedure to make sure you don't lose any history records for any of your contacts:
1. Upgrade to TntMPD 2.0 r7:
http://download.tntware.com/tntmpd/beta/setuptntmpd.exe2. Find a backup copy of your database before you upgraded.
- If you aren't sure if you have one, under the "File" menu, click on "Restore". An auto-backup should have been created right before you originally upgraded the database. You can right-click on it and "Save As" to a well known directory/folder on your computer (ie. "My Documents", "Desktop", etc.)
3. In TntMPD, under the "File" menu, click on "Maintenance". Then click on the BIG button labeled, "BETA issue: Import lost history items from 1.6 to pre-2.0.7 database upgrade...".
- Choose a backup copy of your pre-upgrade database (as discussed in step 2).
This will restore any history items you may have lost. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for beta testing! You're paving the way for thousands of other users!
Sincerely,
Troy Wolbrink
