TntConnect 4.1 BETA - New Gifts View!

TntConnect 4.1.0 BETA was just released.  TntConnect finally includes a major view for gifts, similar to how it has a major view for tasks and history.

The Gifts view is conceptually quite similar to the History view.  You can filter on gift type, campaign, currency and designation.  It includes a chart to the right that displays the gifts over time, summarized by month.  You can sort by any column, export to Excel and perform lookups based on the contacts shown.  You can even pull up the Google Maps view to visualize your gifts geographically.

The gift types you might see are:

• Synced (synced with your organization)
• Pending (entered manually, but you send the gift to your organization, and now you wait for it to be synced)
• Offline (entered manually, and you marked it as "not available on web").
• Personal (entered manually, and you marked it as "Personal", like a Christmas or birthday/anniversary bonus).

If you have Promise tracking enabled, you'll also see:

• Promise Made
• Promise Kept

Thankfully, much of this work on the Gifts view spilled over to gifts section of the TNT tab on the Contacts view.

Another aspect that was given attention was task/history purpose.  If you email someone to thank them, you might log the history as an Email task type, and mark the Purpose as Thank on the details tab of the history item.  Now you can pull up all task or history with the purpose of Thanks, regardless of task type.

• help out with keeping the translation up-to-date (at the translation center).
